New Land Rover Freelander LR2 2010 off road and general views [HD]

The Land Rover Freelander is a compact crossover SUV or "lifestyle 4WD" made by the British company Land Rover; a subsidiary of Tata Motors. The current generation is sold as the LR2 in North America, as opposed to Freelander 2 in Europe. It is built on a unibody structure unlike traditional SUVs which use the more rugged body-on-frame structure.
The new Freelander was first sold in the U.S. in 2007 as the LR2. The 2008 version is called the LR2 HSE. The HSE has added side trim and 19 inch wheels. A Volvo 3.2 litre inline six-cylinder engine producing 230 hp (170 kW) is standard, with a six-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The petrol engine is not available in the United Kingdom. Interior appointments include an Alpine 440 watt 14 speaker surround sound audio and touch navigation screen options. (Technology Package). There is also a Cold Climate Package that includes heated front windscreen, heated front seats with two heating levels and heated windscreen washer jet and a Lighting Package that includes Bi-Xenon headlights, Adaptive Front-Lighting System, memory system for the driver seat and exterior mirrors and approach and puddle lamps.

@sexyboi142 You have right that Jeep was the first 4x4. But you say that Wrangler is better than Defender..

Why? Defender is knows at the "unstopable" offroad car. But anyway, Mercedes Benz Gekändewagen is better than both together! =)

@sexyboi142 what r u talkin about the land rovers were made in for ww2 after jeep yes, but they are still used to this day in the brittish army, and other armies around the world, U.N. personel use them also, and they are used for resuce missions out in the bush, land rover has been working in harsher conditions, they have higher ground clearance, more articulation, i seen jeeps sink, and break when the goin gets tough, jeeps are always modded thats y there good, i use both, the LR wins

@296jayce the jeep was the first 4X4 used in WAR, was the LR in war? ummm no! Sure they have more power, torque and better on road capablities but honeslty all that doesnt matter seeing as how you ant go very far in a LR, they have terrible reliabilty and gas milage, and the air suspension is always failing. Just accept the fact that LR is not the best 4X4. Jeep would take the crown and wear it proudly. The Wrangler is better than any LR out there and will give any 4x4 a run for its money

@sexyboi142 land rover has been working in harsher conditions than the jeep for years, majority of the popukation of the world thatnever saw a car before, the first one they saw was a land rover, they have more power, more torque, better articulation, and on road they are better also.

@296jayce the H1 is good but it's weight causes issues. The H2 and H3 are shit, the defender will always be the best RR by far. The compass and patriot are both trailrated, which means they went through some tough shit to get that badge. The compass and patriot can do ALMOST everything the GC and Wrangler can. They probably wont get you to the end of the Rubicon trail, but hell they'll get ou out of tough situation. And btw I only mean the 2011 jeep compass. and let me guess, you think RR is

@sexyboi142 the h1 really can take abuse, yes land rover will get out the drive way, and the reliability thing was a thing of the past, plus the defender is extreemly good, and the jeep fails in comparison to them now, the toyota land cruiser a living legand off road, a patriot and/or compass are little road cars, not an off roader like the wrangler or grand cheorkee, jeep is not the best, there one of, but not the best by far.

Really? 4runner isn't that good, the Fj, eh its ok. Mercedes? The G class is legendary but other than that....Land rover? Is it even gonna get me past the driveway with it's terrible reliablity
