It's hardly their fault. If they allowed this to be released, they'd forfeit their intellectual property rights. Ruining 40k for the sake of a fan-made film wouldn't be worth it. Shame, because this looks awesome. Someone should make an official 40k film one of these days.

Short fan videos like you see on youtube are fine, but full length movies might be seen as intentionally stealing revenue, since they're obviously serious productions and not something someone made in their house for fun.

Damn games workshop for their blanket-ban.
I was in the process of making a WH40k production when the ban was put in place...
It really sucks.
They REALLY hate their fans.
What I don't understand is why they go to such lengths to ban this movie when there's people making two-bit stop-motion animations with their models, and some fairly good CGI animators making movies all the time.
