@frodo94 im growing coffee plants too. i keep my p.h. around 6.0. im new at growing coffee but i learn stuff everyday about them.i go to a hydroponics to get my fertilizer and advice too.i get my soil mixture custom made so to say for the best results. the one thing i can give u is buy Foxfarm liquid plant food 6-4-4.im sure u can find more info on the food and the coffee plants.
@tonniette1 Seems like you know a lot about this, wodering if you can help me. I have just gotten some coffee seeds, and want to grow it organic. So do you know what Ph level coffee should have? Will it be good to use coffee to water it, or will it become too acidic?
You can grow a coffee plant indoors. It may even bloom and set fruit. That is not common, but it can happen. It can be grown out-of-doors in the US; Kona coffee is grown on plantations in Hawaii, and last time I checked, that's in the US.
Otherwise, it can be grown in a climate-controlled setting such as a greenhouse. It's more for novelty value than commercially, obviously.
Thanks tejemaneje94 for your response. My little coffee seedlings are growing on my window sill. I'm hoping to build a climate controlled greenhouse for them by the time they outgrow their place in the dining room. Our soil is very alkaline here, but it can be supplimented to acidic, if that's what they prefer.

I've been to the Andres mountains in Venezuala and saw coffee trees growing in a friends backyard. I wonder if it could be grown in the US?
