I don't see why they didn't actually play the song on the instruments they had. The song is rather easy to play.

the audio has been entirely replaced with the stereo version, even the vocals. listen to the studio version and this video at the same time and sync up the music. they are identical

@Gigsixstring no. the vocals are live. but the rest of the band is just pretending to play. they have the original studio track playing with the vocals removed. that's how top of the pops always does it. it's pretty lame.

@BinghamIsAnEpicName it's just the lighting and the fact that he has sunglasses on that makes it look that way. i can assure you he has eyebrows here. he's never shaved them off before.
