Gender Identity (notice I didn't say sex) has no impact upon sexuality, it only has a strong correlation. As such, it would be foolhardy to associate manliness with lesbianism, or girliness with being gay. There's only one thing that determines whether you are gay or not: Do you have sex/fall in love with the same gender? Yes? Then you're gay.

So if dexamethasone halts masculine development, and it is given prior to knowing the sex of the fetus, won't it prevent masculine development of a male fetus? Would a boy who is exposed to this prenatally be more likely to be gay? Do the parents who give dexamethasone to prevent a "tomboy" girl be any more accepting of "sissy" son?

@heeeythatsmybike We are all different,that much is true,but it seems to me that when it comes about homosexuals,that their relationships are pretty much based on sex,and promiscuity is very common thing among gay community.Not to mention other not so much nice things like drug abuse often present as boost for pleasure,but of course,all that deviant behavior could be the outcome of imposed guilt from non-gay people.Btw,I am not speaking out of hate,I love EVERYONE,literally!:)

Most people are obsessed with sex, but always in varying degrees depending on things like their personality and biology (different things, like hormone deficiencies, can affect sexual desire and arousal). And then there are folks that identify as asexual who, even though they genuinely are not interested in sex, may even be interested romantically in people of the same sex, so....
