It's illegal to put certain large species of carp back into the water after you catch them. They're that big of a problem.
If you have to kill it then you might as well bowfish and have a ball. If you don't like the taste of carp, use them to fertilize your garden. If it's clean waters, use them for growing vegitables.

What kind of lights do you have on your boat? Also, where do you get them? I bowfish, but I do it from the bank, and it looks like you could get a lot more from a boat with lights.

There just standard 500 Watt halogen fixtures with 300 watt bulbs in them. works really good we see a lot more fish at night and you don't have to deal with all the other people who use the river during the day
