OK WHAT HAVE WE LEARNED TODAY CHILDREN. EMOS STOLE GOTH AND PUNKS CLOTHING COMBINING THEM. THEN THEY TOOK PUNK MUSIC AND HARDCORE MUSIC COMBINING IT. AND NOW EVERYONE DRESSES THE SAME THANKS TO COMPUTERS WHICH HAS RESULTED IN HIPSTERS WHO DONT EVEN KNOW WHY THEY ARE DRESSING A CERTAIN WAY. THEY JUST KNOW EVERYONE ELSE IS SO THEY PROBABLY SHOULD TOO. IF YOU HAVE EVER WORN THICK FRAMED GLASSES FROM YEAR 2000+ YOU ARE A TOOL AND I HATE YOU

My Chemical Romance is NOT Pop/Punk! Besides being a great band, wonderful, something has Hardcore. And I'm not a radical fan, but I think you should open your mind. For me it's aloof the best band of this generation.

@RMPalm2000 -Fugazi is Post Hardcore too. Now a days, genre's mix. Screamo and Post Hardcore mix to form a horrid blend.

Oh and Saves the Day's third album Stay What Your Are(2001) was their last good album before falling.

i agree on most of this. But you're wrong on screamo. Screamo started in the early 90's with bands like Orchid, Anomie, Saetia, and Moss Icon. Now real screamo bands are Raein, Circle Takes The Square. You're confusing screamo with Post-Hardcore.

Sad thing was, AFI went from being an awesome Horror Punk band before caving in to mainstream peer pressure. The Art of Drowning(2000) was their last good album. Damn, we need a 4th wave of Emo that needs to get away from Screamo influences.
