I learned that republicans lie when I was employed to study the california's electricity usage history. . .and George Bush was helping out his buddy Ken Lay by saying that it was a "supply and demand issue". The truth was that Enron was shutting down power plants, selling power out of state and driving up the price so that California lost over 500 million dollars that was supposed to go to schools.

on the day that ENRON went down the price of electricity on the Cal-OR border dropped in half.
