@drodriguez1010 You have to realize, These commercials are a big source of pride, admiration, and at times nostalgia to United employees, both New and Old. I myself am a Second generation United employee, as are many of the 'newcomers' so in a way, it is very much a family business in that respect. and Every single person i know is still Damn proud to work for the best U.S. based airline.
Does anyone have the United commercial from the 1980s where the boss of a company hands out airline tickets to his employees so they can "get to know our clients again"? It had heavy airplay in the late 1980s and early 90s.
Good old days of UA employee ownership. They really used that to their advantage. I remember when you'd call in and it would say, "Please hold for an 'owner-representative'." Despite this, I always preferred "fly the airline that's uniting the world" to the "we don't just work here" line before "Come fly the/our friendly skies".
United's commercials make sense. Delta had good one's in the 80's, but United's hit on all levels. Gene Hackman is great. "the calm before and after the storm." That's great
Love these

Dear All,
I have some questions about psychology:
*Why do we love flying?
*Why do we enjoy air travel?
*What do we enjoy most in the sky?
THANK YOU IN ADVNACE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)
