Lorry pushing trapped car along A1 in Hi-Def - Best clip

Video starts 0:25 seconds in, first part is still pictures of the unbelievable event - A haulage firm today began an investigation after a video emerged that appeared to show a lorry driver speeding along a motorway unaware that a car was trapped under its bumper.

The mobile phone footage shows an Arclid Transport lorry travelling in the fast lane on the A1 near Wetherby, west Yorkshire, with a blue Renault Clio trapped sideways under its bumper.

The footage, believed to have been filmed in January by passengers in a vehicle on the same road, showed the driver of the Clio who has not so far been identified appearing to try to release the car by pressing the brakes.

A male voice can be heard inside the car from which the scene was filmed, shouting: "He [the lorry driver] hasn't even seen it."

It is believed the car driver emerged without any serious injuries once both vehicles had come to a stop. The footage was later posted on YouTube, but is it real of fake?

This is a real video. The resulting court case happened today. The woman in the Clio tried to undertake the lorry! The lorry driver didn't feel anything as the cars collided and was unable to see the car from the Cab of the truck. He didn't even get a fine!

The cab of the truck is right over the engine. You can hear most things. But I doubt they heard the little car's horn. Especially if the driver was listening to the radio.
