  • I dunno - I watched this as a child and although I have fond memories of it as a result, I don't actually remember any of it at all. So when I see it now in clips like this, it's clear that while it may have been innocent and gentle, it's oh-so-terribly middle class and not very funny at all. Some of the lines are so corny and lame -"Put the light on"/ "Whatever for?"/ "I can't see" /"What are you doing on the table?"/"I'm getting down", for example. Alf Garnett or Monty Python it ain't.

  • @WonderingFox - Apparently all four series have now been released on DVD (by Network DVD). I have seen them for sale on Amazon UK. Hope this helps.

  • I used to love this series though I can't remember much about it, shame they don't repeat it.

  • @Lytton333 The late Carrot, sadly! :(

  • @benlu123 people were a lot less cynical in those days.

  • Robin Davies great actor sadly passed away 2010 RIP

  • Fantastic! I haven't seen this since it was on originally, why don't they repeat these as well I wonder?

  • Thanks so much for posting this - I loved this show when I was a kid in the 70s, in Australia, and even sent away for fan photos way back then - I still have them somewhere!

  • I remember watching this as a kid! I used to luv this show! Check out my tvc I filmed with some kids playing a prank on a lady: PRANKSTERS IN THE PARK

  • My mum starred in one episode of And Mother Makes Three, which I'd love to discover and I was wondering if anyone can identify it for me and possibly upload it on You Tube for me to see.

she plays a girlfriend of Simon, who he brings home one day and there's another scene in the school where a school locker door gets slammed and because it was filmed live in those days, my mum recalls she jumped when it slammed.

Any help would be most appreciated.
