That's why it's called assist, not automatic, lol

That's a pretty large parking space. How well would it do parking in a large city like Chicago? I've seen and have myself gotten cars into spaces not much longer then the car itself. And without holding up traffic on the street. Parking in some cities is an art

it looks like another feature FAIL. if ford's active parking is smart enough to park a car.
it would be smart enough to STOP.

@demiandellinger If you don't count that both bumpers probably gave in a little bit so they need to be changed.
-
Probably the lamest park assist ever. Why it doesn't warn you loudly to brake. But yeah funny video. "Not a scratch" Yeah no scratches, but probably both bumpers need to be changed, which isn't cheap.

yay now i have to worry about cars hitting my car because the person is to worried about sending a text and can't park there car them self.
-
Saving grace for Leo AND Ford is that there was no damage to either car.

Yes, at t 0:38 the Demonstrator says to keep his foot on the brake a bit. But this was only mentioned at the last minute, when I know I would have been freaked out at the car turning into Herbie The Love Bug. The wrong time and a tad late for a vital tidbit of info! Leo throws so much humor into it that he saves the demo.

hahaha ... The funniest part of the video for me was Leo saying: "Yesterday I drove my wife's car into another vehic..." then BAM! :D

Why didn't they tell him he had to stop? How stupid can you be. Not a very good system if it's gonna hit the car behind you.
