This is a walkthrough! Obviously not a speed run. Now I will go through ALL of the
cut Scenes, and Codec calls in the game. I have beaten this game on Easy: 20 - 30
times Normal: 0 times Hard: 3 times(after this walkthrough) Extreme: 0 times. This
walkthrough was intended to help out anyone trying hard difficulty. I only posted
this because I noticed that there was NO Hard mode walkthroughs/speed runs on youtube.

Note:!!!!!!! I got a continue while trying to beat Raven with one-hit-damage but I edited out.

Note:!!!!!!! I accidently skipped the psg1!!!! I forgot to record then when I got to
Sniper Wolf I looked at my computer and I wasn't recording! While getting the PSG1
I was alerted Once.

Note!!!!!!!! I accidently skipped the 2nd Elevator fight scene! I turned off my ps2
then I woke up next morning and beat it but I wasn't capturing! While fighting in
the elevator I took 3 hits of damage.

Note!!!!!!!! Some of the videos may look diferent on youtube because of the program used to render
the first 3 segments were Sony Vegas but then I just got lazy and did Windows Movie Maker.

Hey let me be the first to say thank you for putting up a walkthrough on hard mode. I don't think any people have put up a video on extreme for this game too but still. Your pretty good. ;)

Thanks, this was the whole reason for me putting it up. I was going to make a Big Boss Run on Extreme NOT a speed run but a Big Boss Walkthrough but that would make it so I would have to skip all the scenes and codecs.

Yeah I just watched chronogear's and bigboss' speed run and the way they did it was flawless with this game it's all about timing when it comes to the boss fights. On extreme though I couldn't even get passed the tank :( but the last time I tried it on extreme was when I was 12 and now I'm 17 so I'm going to give it another go after completing hard. ;)

Well, the tank is actualy WAY easier than you think. You can kill him in just 2 grenades(like I did in part 8) its will take you a few restarts due to getting hit by that damn machine gun turret buts its fairly easy

Yeah I could see where you're coming from. But I can't even start a game on extreme because my disk two has so many scratches so I can't even complete it on hard :(

Finally someone enough brave to make a HARD mode walktrough of MGS..too many easy/normal walkthrough..When I played this game some years ago I fall in love with it..Just a question..I don't remember..to unlock the "extreme" mode, do you have to finish the game on hard or do you need to make something else?..Thanx.. :)
