This is how I see this swing. If anyone wants to leave please be nice, we are just trying to get better at a sport we love. Also If you see something else wrong I haven't, I would appreciate if you could give us some drills to help correct bad behavior.
When you go to the load phase of your swing, your bat is already starting to come forward before your step hits the ground. You also instead of loading are pushing your hands down and away from the body.
During your swing because you never rotate your back foot, or squash the bug, and because of your load the approach to the ball is not in a straight line but more of an uppercut swing. This gives the sweet spot of your bat less time in the zone.
The follow through the bat gets ahead of your swing to early. it is very evident you hardly get
any hips into the ball cause your follow through. Your chest should almost be facing the opposite of
the plate while yours is facing forward. Kind of like you were trying to hold back instead of fully rotate, through and use your full power.
