Dorian Gray (Martial Law) Trailer

I really REALLY hope that this is released in the United States or I shall be highly depressed.

The upcoming film DORIAN GRAY is an adaptation of the famed Oscar Wilde novel, THE PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY.

I think that the cast for this film is utterly superb, and all the previews that I have seen just make me even more excited for this adaptation. So, I thought that I'd do my own trailer of sorts for DORIAN GRAY. The audio is focused mainly upon the important scene near the beginning of the story where Dorian, Lord Henry, and Basil discuss the painting and the idea of hedonism. It is at this point that Dorian makes the fateful decision which shall change his life forever.

Okay, quick note: I tried my best to make this "trailer" itself seem like a painting mainly because I thought it was kind of cool. *shrugs*

Novel Summary (Do not read if you do not want to be spoiled): Within this Victorian tale, a young man, Dorian Gray, makes a Faustian deal with the hedonistic Lord Henry, whereby he shall remain forever young, his soul transferred to the uncannily lifelike portrait of himself. Throwing himself into a world of debauchery and sin, Dorian lives his years without regret, until he realizes that the portrait of himself has been growing steadily more grotesque and deformed with each sin that he commits. He attempts to slay the portrait painter--his old friend, Basil--only for a dark reddish stain to form upon it. Becoming more and more frantic, he eventually stabs the painting. The servants of his house, responding to a cry from the attic, find an old and gruesome corpse lying beneath the beautiful portrait of their master, a stab wound in his chest. It is only by examining the rings on his hands that they realize the man is Dorian himself.
