One of the striped possums in the Nocturnal Room of the Small Mammal House is waiting for the lights to go off so the "day" will begin for the nocturnal animals.
This was Boo at the Zoo weekend, so this striped possum was probably also anticipating getting some Halloween treats.
Gah, that's really cute! Is that thing at the end of it's mouth a tooth? ( Sounds like a dumb question, but sometimes animals get things, such as crumbs, stuck to their fur ) ^^;

Yes, I believe that's a tooth. It's definitely not a piece of food.

Very cool clip! Again, the crowd chat adds a very nice touch!

Thank you!
Zoos often conduct surveys, send out questionnaires, or develop focus groups to determine how successful they are in achieving their goals and missions.
But I think they could also gather a lot of useful information by spending time observing and especially by listening to visitors talking to each other while they are at the Zoo.
Candid, spur of the moment comments, can be a lot more revealing than thought out replies to questions.
