How to beat the offside trap in soccer on a set play from your half: 1) have a great kicker with a great sense of timing and placement; 2) have a forward who is also a youth soccer ref; 3) have the other team play the offside trap! 4) make a perfectly timed run coupled with a huge kick. Result? GOAL!
The LWYSA Crossfire Select Boys '92 soccer team during the 2006-2007 "football" season. Lake Washington Youth Soccer Association members are from Seattle's Eastside (Kirkland, Redmond, Sammamish, etc).

Um, the header was by the DEFENDING team. The player is offside if he is an offside position when the ball is last played by a teammate, NOT by the defense. The player was in an onside position when the free kick was taken, and ran past an attempt at the offside trap...

if you're 22, I hope you didn't play against a bunch of 14 year olds! And, no, his team has never been beaten 6-0. or 5-0. Or 4-0. Actually, I don't think they've ever played the "Lions". Are you Lion? hahahah!
