How to beat the offside trap in soccer on a set play from your half: 1) have a great kicker with a great sense of timing and placement; 2) have a forward who is also a youth soccer ref; 3) have the other team play the offside trap! 4) make a perfectly timed run coupled with a huge kick. Result? GOAL!
The LWYSA Crossfire Select Boys '92 soccer team during the 2006-2007 "football" season. Lake Washington Youth Soccer Association members are from Seattle's Eastside (Kirkland, Redmond, Sammamish, etc).

  • Um, the header was by the DEFENDING team. The player is offside if he is an offside position when the ball is last played by a teammate, NOT by the defense. The player was in an onside position when the free kick was taken, and ran past an attempt at the offside trap...

  • dang ur all like the height of 11 year olds

  • that was a good chip over the keeper
