@Mark123USA This is true. The political climate has changed a lot since I made the above comment three years ago. In my mind, Ron Paul with his mix of libertarian and conservative principles represents the non-interventionist wing of the GOP and conservatives in general. Kind of ironic Obama is acting like a neoconservative in Libya, though.

@AnHonestChristian Actually many Conservatives hate the war in Iraq, as well. Just pointing that out. Have you heard the term Anti-War Conservatives or the Conservative organization known as "Iraqi Veterans Against The War?"

Imagine a world in which the Police had guns and you did not, where the Police can have as many weapons of any type they wanted and you and all your fellow citizens were unarmed.
This is the reason we have the right to bear arms. The FF knew what it was like to live this way and understood the nature of policing. As long as a policeman is not sure if you are armed then he will think twice before he kicks in your door.
We bear arms to protect ourselves from the police and a policestate.
