Oral History Panel

The founding fathers of the Stanford Graduate School of Business Public Management Program (PMP) remember their motivation to start educating business leaders who understand society and government, and government leaders who understand business. As they consider the challenges of the world today, they agree that the program is more relevant today than it ever was before.

Panelists include:
- Arjay Miller, forth dean of the Stanford Graduate School of Business and President of Ford Motors Co from 1963 to 1969
- Henry Rowen, Edward B. Rust Professor of Public Policy and Management, Emeritus
- John Steinhart, Stanford Sloan director from 1979 to 1984, first director of the PMP
- Alan Enthoven, Marriner S. Eccles Professor of Public and Private Management, Emeritus
- Robert Flanagan, Konosuke Matsushita Professor of International Labor Economics and Policy Analysis, Emeritus
- Charles Holloway, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers Professor of Management, Emeritus
