HTC Tilt 2 Review Part 1

This is Part 1 of ITB's review of the HTC Tilt 2 available on AT&T. The Tilt 2 features full QWERTY slide-out keyboard, and screen tilting mechanism. does the keyboard have backlights and is it slow or pretty descent speed cause i was thinking about getting it but i wasnt sure if it was fast or slow or if it had backlights can u respond

@xEDGEREFLEXx The keyboard does have backlighting. The Tilt 2 had decent speed when I reviewed it, but when you put it up against the smartphones on the market today, the Tilt 2 would be considered slow. Hope this information helps.

I'm getting a new phone next week off of a 2-year upgrade. I want a good phone but we don't pay for internet so idk if i should get a smartphone or something. I really want a phone with a touch screen, one bigger than my samsung impression and can someone PLEASE reccomend a good phone, and would this phone be good for me?

the touch screen wont work for you cause your supposed to use your nail. its not heat sensative. pressure

1. yes it does have threaded messaging

2. yes there is a youtube app.

3. yea you can text on the screen with the stylus.

i too have an iphone. but im about to get this. even though windows mobile 7 is out i still wanna try this because the phones they have featuring windows 7 os for at&t are garbage. id rather have this beast of a phone with windows 6.5 than have something like an htc surround with wm7.
