Athens Chaos: RT in cop-protester crossfire

In Greece clashes broke out in central Athens between rival groups of protesters during the second day of mass demonstrations against a new round of austerity measures being debated in parliament. Authorities say one person died, while dozens were injured as more than 50 thousands demonstrators gathered in the city's main square outside parliament. RT's Sara firth reports from Athens.

we almost travel everywhere to all continents and visited many capital cities in europe and americas however ,we must say that athens is one of the ugliest ,most polluted with low quality of life for its habitants.it was definetelly the worse choice we have ever made.greece does not feel western.it resembles more the middle east and the same goes for the greeks.most short,dark,olive skin they spend endless times eating kebabs and drinking turkish coffees and gossiping.A NO GO PLACE

When you spend money you don't have and don't grow your economy you eventually run out. The Greeks can't blame anyone except the polticians they have kept electing for years who promised tons of benefits and ran up debts they knew they could never cover to do that. The politicians got power and privelege and didn't care what mess they left when the musical chairs stopped. Yes, they need ot cut spending and have more capitalism whether they stay in the EU or not. The music stopped long ago.
