That's one of my favourite things about the scene. She didn't die because Angel stopped himself from draining her blood completely. He did have to rush her to the hospital though, but she was okay.

Faith shot Angel with an arrow with a poison that would kill him. The only cure was the blood of a Slayer. Buffy tried to kill Faith so that Angel could get the blood that way. Faith ended up going off of the roof. Anyway, with Faith gone, Buffy was the only answer. Buffy wasn't going to let Angel die, so she made him drink from her instead.
