The Colville American Legion Motorcycle Riders organized a 100 mile round trip ride to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the 9-11 events. The ride ended at the Colville Yep Kennum Park with a Memorial Service in honor of the dead and injured from the terrorist attacks and the ensuing fights overseas. The Legion was assisted by Law Enforcement officials in Colville, Chewelah, and Deer Park, Washington, with ongoing support from the State Highway Patrol. The Memorial Service included an orchestra, an Army Honor Guard, Bagpipes and speakers. Boy Scouts in Colville lined the streets holding American Flags, and EMT and Firefighters lined the parade route in uniforms.
