First I'll say, this YouTube video in NO way represents the true HD quality that the XH A1 is capable of producing. On top of the compression required to stream this well, it's also a relatively long short (there was an oxymoron). So that being said, this is just my first time using the camera, walking around the Baltimore Inner Harbor. Also, this short uses music from Radiohead, and NIN's recent album, Ghosts I-IV. It's NOT my entry for the Ghosts film festival, that is still to come. I just thought that it would be cool to use some of those songs. For the most part, the instant auto focus feature is used in this sequence, but towards the end, I play around with the manual settings some. I think those scenes turned out pretty interesting. This is an awesome piece of equipment!
What would you give this camera from a one to ten?

Sorry it took so long to get back to you, I didn't even notice the comment until tonight. I'd say probably a 9.5. I'm still learning everything that the features of this camera are capable of. The actual picture that it produces is incredible. My only complaint is the difficulty that I am experiencing with balancing it on a Glidecam pro2000 stabilizer. I know that's more the stabilizer than the camera's fault, but that's about it.
