Haha, RED was the man. Thanks so much for posting this. Rick Barry has a crazy but cool and//or successful free--throw shot..!! I do not use it, persay, but, it's cool, lol..!!
OMG I have never heard of Jamaal Wilkes and I can only shoot like him in-game (my elbows painfully click whenever I do full extension) but the coaches bench me if I do, so I shoot about 35% the "right" way. Damn, I wish I was still in High School so I could tell my coach about this guy.
do what is most comfortible for u as long as u use the fundementals. thats how i shoot but people at my school underestimate me alot cause my shots look wierd like on teh 3pt line during a game they leave me wide open there and expect me to miss and then i swish it and my team mates go ooooooooooooooooooooo while the other team goes liek hahahahaa he shoots like a freak like this one lil kid in my school thinks he can take me just cause i shoot "wierd" but i pwned 27-1(1s and 2s) and still laugh
Shooting it the way you can make it may be fine if you are not into serious basketball or playing in the NCAA. Other than that you will probably never even sink 10 free throws in a row if you are not using the CORRECT fundamentals.
