TR-808 Oldschool Beat

Old School Beat I maded with my new gear. The beat is inspired by the 1980s beats maded with the Roland TR-808. Created my own TR-808 program by carefully selecting samples to match the classic drum machine. I sampled the scratch from my buddy DJ Flare, which was from a Cuban comedian on vinyl.

great track! i'm confused with all the peeps saying that they can tell that it's not a real 808. if it were a real 808, wouldn't the sound become 'thin' anyway due to the video compression? Also the signal of a real 808 would be processed through A/D convertor on a digital recorder i.e. a computer, so the analogue signal would become digitalised.
