@southport97 - Not originally - Richway was originally owned by Rich's Department Stores. They were later bought by Federeated Department Stores and changed most of the stores into Gold Circle in 1986, then they were bought by Target's parent company in 1988, and all the remaining Gold Circles became Targets. Rich's Department Stores went out of business in 2005.

I did not even know a Target was open back then. They just began opening in Boston in the 2000s.

$169.00 in 1983 was a lot of money. I didnt even bother asking for a Colecovision......there was no chance in hell.
I couldnt even get them to buy me Adidas...i had to wear "Olympians" they were sold at Bradlees and cost $12.00.
Everyone knew we were poor.
