The black stripes problem is caused by You Tube, probably because these 5 or 6 videos I uploaded at the intructions of, and on behalf of, the person who took the videos. At his request I used the word "copyright" in the description and it seems that You Tube compresses the video width wise and puts black bands either side as a result.
I have tried reloading two of them, without the words copyright, but unsuccessful.
