The CP "272" train led by a SOO EMD SD60 runs east past the 73.6 detector on the Chicago subdivision. The train had recently exchanged a few cars at Davis Junction, Illinois before continuing towards Bensenville, Illinois.

This detector "talk" was recently changed to the CP version from the IC&E. So this was my first chance to capture it. Sure sounds different. Compare it to the previous version here: http://youtu.be/Jzt228tPOSE?hd=1

  • Ditch light out on the front of the SOO SD60.

  • SOO's are so classy, it's ashame they'll be on the list of disappearing sights, but at least CP is refurbishing and keeping some classic power, which could have easily been discarded!

  • @o00o00ozy They are nice to see. It's usually a scramble for the local railfans when one is running.

    Thanks.
