@zorrokun in my opinion , that distance concerning what is semi pro and expert is smaller today. d7000 is perhaps all we want. go to... freedslr dot com change dot with . and try to get a chance to bring home a new Nikon D7000

you guys have to remember that this is nikon's first brave step merging an slr and a video camera while still attempting to retain high image quality. i think they have a little bit more tweaking to go in order to be up to par with canon's hv30. and when that comes, boom: nikon ftw.

The still images and the movie clips might have been the d90 but I bet you anything the sound wasn't.

is the auto gain where the light compensates - i no nothing, but i noticed this on the promo material
