Owned both for considerable period of time. Fn2 is superior in every way. Noise, mid range, seats, interior, cornering, everything. Don't believe the old fart with the bad back off top gear telly. 2007 top gear MAGAZINE hot hatch of the year. May not have been the quickest but stig (2007) preferred it over every other hatch on sale at the time. Wouldn't go back to old one.

This is a false review. The guy in video obviously has been payed by honda to lie about performance. I have raced both cars and let me tell u old type r is wayyy better in every way!!! This guy needs a slap!!!

New type r more torque en the new type r is heavier...just 60kg...the new type r shift way faster and have shorter gears...and a high end 6 gear...and the vtec also begins earlier...the new type r is a god in good hands...

Yeah lol i have the old type- r and i have 9k rpms if the new one has 800 more then its almost 10k yeah right and since the new is is much heavyer and has 1 more hp more then the old type r can win easy...

@djdavedoc LOL, feels slow....you must have been in a type s mate...LOL, agreed the shocks are really hard but that the point, it is glued to the apex on any corner and there is absolutly no roll......

The EP3 was a great car until it get older and the value dropped, then was bought by every chav in the UK, hence the reason I sold mine and bought a FN2....

But hey.....everyone to there own and all that.........if it puts a smile on your face.
