Experience amazing Petra, Camp in the desert with the Bedouin, Swim in the Red Sea, Climb Mt Sinai, Grab a bargain in Cairo's souqs, Get a taste of Nubian life, Kick back on a felucca, Take a dip in Cleopatra's bath, Visit isolated oases, See the Great Pyramids, Float in the Dead Sea, Camp under stars in the White Desert, Explore bustling Alexandria.
My wife and I went on Intrepid's Pyramids to Petra trip this past summer. I put together a few video highlights, "Egypt and Jordan", that shows up in the related videos on the right hand side of the screen.
The hike up Mount Sinai was strenuous, but well worth the effort - you had the option of riding a camel to the top too.
We felt completely safe and wandered off on our own the entire trip. The people there are very welcoming!
