As Gabriel Bol says in Rebuilding Hope (www.RebuildingHopeSudan.org), Peace means development, peace means people go to school, peace means when you are sick you get treatment. Health and education go hand in hand, they are not really separate things.

Health care and education were among the two most vital needs in South Sudan, according to almost everyone that we spoke to, from villagers to Southern Sudanese government officials.
But rebuilding health care and education systems after decades of civil war presents one challenge after another

Good luck in the coming referendum! As a sudanese of mixed northern nd southern heritage, I dont see a problem, both are my home, but instead of worrying about politics, I urge teacher training! building industries like using our natural remedies for market! our neem is a good anti-biotic! our gongaleze has more vitamin C than oranges and more calcium than milk! we are in a blessed land, let's use it!

I don't really understanding why, the Arab, or some of southerness people trying to vote for unity, I don't know what they think....we can not give away our Idenity away, why we love some one doesn't love us, it doesn't make any sense at all.
