Ubuntu Feisty, Beryl, Kiba

I was trying to find a screen capture program but could not get it running.

Ubuntu Feisty Fawn 7.04, running Beryl .2.0 using Kiba dock on an x1950 pro, XGL session. was a bit choppy with Folding@Home running in the background set at low priority(idle is default).

i found some "water on metal" desktop background. the cube background is some foggy rock, its a 3840x1024 image or something. display is 1280x1024

heeeeeyyyy!!!! How did you manage to do this? I mean there are awful linux drivers for x1950. Please post a link or something (if you used of course). I like it a lot! :)

use the FGLRX open-source drivers. there are guides around, i used HOW-To's on the ubuntu forums because i could not get Beryl to run with the ATI released drivers. google for x1950, beryl, and your linux distro.

please can you give me the steps to install the ATi Radeon X1950 with Ubuntu and all those fx.I tried many things but i only managed to enable the fx without my card`s acceleration.please help!!!!
