Dedicated to Danny & Joe. This is from the same concert as Fallin' In Love at the club in Mission Hills, CA. I'm still on the synth and Danny & Joe are singing. Sorry about the poor quality again.....also pretty much the same slide show since I actually made this one first but. Hope you enjoy it!

  • Thanks for the comments folks. I recorded us playing at a club in Mission Hills just north of Los Angeles in 1989. I met Danny & Joe in '86 when they hired me as music copyist. i liked them both as musicians and as people. Their wives were very nice too. I worked with them on various projects until Dan passed in the early '90s. I enjoyed performing this song even though the synth playing was a little rough!

  • somebody, somewhere must have a live clip of these guys performing.

  • @popinton

If you find one please post it in the video reply. Thanks for the comment!

  • I think you did a great job, love these guys when I was a kid, brings back fun memories. I wasn't aware we had lost 2 of them. Do you know when & how? Sad, they were cool back then. Thanks for sharing these videos. =)

  • I only know of Danny passing but maybe someone else knows of something?

  • I think the 1970s sound is captured in this song better than anything else of that time period. It has stuck with me since I heard it as a kid and learned every word from the radio. It brings the memories back more than any others of the time.

  • my oh my what the studio can fix!

  • why are they rushing there way through the song?

  • are these the same guys from the ventures type band t-bones? if so, quite a change of direction. and do you know the full name of the singer ? this is not the version i have on 45 by the way. as i look at some of the pics, iwonder if they did this later 4 a wedding or something. regards

  • @KathleenWilbeck It's NOT the Grass Roots song..It's Hamliton Joe Frank and Reynolds

  • I agree......somewhere, SOMEONE must have a live clip of these guys singing this song. This is NOT a Grass Roots original.....

  • Yet again, Brian Potter and Dennis Lambert co-compose a great song! Always and forever one of my favorites.

    Fine performance!
