Who really cares how long you've been a fan of Jim Croce? You're just trying to inflate your internet ego. I'm pretty sure Jim Croce was the type of person who wouldn't have cared which fan listened to him longer. Music speaks to all of us, one would think that someone who hears what Jim's music is saying would love that more people share the mindset necessary to appreciate his genius. RIP Jim Croce, we all miss you.

^. I just discovered him. No shame in that. He stumbled randomly onto a Pandora station of mine.. didn't recognize the name so went to change it but Don't Mess With Jim caught me well before I got there... now I am here exploring more of the artist.

Even though we lost him shortly after that performance, II hope it is possible that somehow Jim Croce could know that exactly 40 years later on a video viewing device called Youtube it has been viewed and appreciated going on 3.5 million times and that his mark as a musician is indelible.

Divisor Plot; What?? Who cares about your diatribe? That's right, no one. Jim Croce was a music legend and still is. Screw philosophers. Just a bunch of windbags like you. Listen to the music, hear it, feel it. That's what it is all about.

Let's not forget Maury Muehleisen. He's the guy playing lead and singing the high harmony behind Jim. He's as important to Jim Croce's music and sound as Don Rich was to Buck Owens' music/sound.
