06:53- in the circuit, negative clipper is shown, but waveform on the right side is shifted (somehow!!) but period is 1 which remains constant. Don´t get confused with 2 graphs at output (with and without 0.7V) which should be the same (here somehow right side one is shifted a little to the right !! )

AT 13:29, in the clamper circuit, a polarised capacitor has been used...Now during the positive half of the first cycle don't u think that the capacitor will get damaged when a reverse voltage is at its peak...A polarized capacitor(Electrolytic capacitor) can tolerate a reverse voltage of around 1.5V...what if the peak voltage is greater than 1.5V???

@neolife2010 Capitalism has nothing to do with a mans heart. That's like saying money is evil. I am an American and I give free electronic and guitar lessons, because i love teaching. I also run my own business and I get paid. So is capitalism really the issue?

Yes, MIT and other american instiutions put lectures online.
But let's be serious. Have you watched a few of those MIT lectures? They aren't being taught to the average student. The people who those lectures are designed for are the supposedly a cut above plain folks like me.
Anyway, I'm glad I came across this professor's lectures. I already had an understanding of most of the concepts. He simply made a few things much more clear :-) And he brought up a few topics we skipped in my courses

thanks a lot !!!!!thanks for doing this for us !!thanks god bless

gained more real-world knowledge from this lecture than any of my EE classes regarding diodes. Nice...

iam from pakistan doing my B.teach.this video is very useful for me

realy great! But what I always missed in software and in lab test, are the metering devices in the scheme. They obviously must affect the overal resistance of the circuit.

wonderful lecture sir, it really helped me...Thanks

i love electronics!
very good! useful for those interested.

I'm studying electrical circuits for a job I knew nothing about electricity when I started. Your vid is very helpful for the people who want to learn for themselves. Thank you.
