Well first of all, he's using a wah pedal which helps the harmonics come out because of the treblyness. Second, he isn't muting all the other strings, he's lightly touching the string he is playing on and it produces a harmonic. Kinda like when you play one thing with the left hand and then slowly slide your finger along that string, with a light touch, up toward the neck from the bridge. Lots of distortion helps also. Than again, he is badass so I might be wrong. That's just my opinion. LOL
