Chinese Great Wall isn´t "only" one of "The 7 World´s Miracles" and exceptional historical monument, but - first! - a fantastic possibility to see amazing, breathtaking Chinese nature...some parts (not this one on my pictures, taken nearby Tian-jin)are really dangerous hiking..but the mountain panoramas are woth of this climbing up and down and again! If you love nature, walking and a hint of adventure, don´t hesitate and visit this fabulous part of world!

  • Love the song the pics, but do you people know the relentless brutality that was used to build that wall,? hello? it is a monument to the greatness and suffering of those who built, it is a mark of pride and shame, the rich overlords, enslaving the poor! it is lasting testimony to the human spirit, despite the hundreds of thousands that died building it! Brave, tireless souls, peace to all of u there!

  • @coyotethunderdrumm Of course you are true...that was also my aim to let people THINK about this "wonder"....my video is - above all - the representation of my respect to ALL unknown poor people giving uns SO MUCH of "wonders"....and the celebration of Chinese - who are very very humble, gentle, hardworking and grateful for each possibility to study or improvement of their lives...despite of totalitarian regimen they stay to be peaceful and tolerant...love! Natali

That's pretty much the common theme throughout the world many suffer so few will benefit most places or monuments with historical significance are stained with blood the tragedy about the Great Wall is that it was an epic failure China was conquered twice by invaders from north of the wall first Mongols and then Manchurians

  • You know coming from Persia or from Russia that you do not want to go where the Gods have made the people live on so little with no way to go where the food is. No way to run their own countries. Too many people not enough food. They would sell you the clothes off their backs to get a chance to be Free and ride all over the earth free and strong. It is sad they built that to keep them in such a place. A free spirit is more important than a safe one imprisoned. And that is a Chinese saying.

  • If you were on horseback coming from the Russian area thru the deserts to the south and going to India and you happened on China you would see this. A few million poor farmers not protected by armies. They are not free they must learn to fight with their bare hands and they are shrunk and dried in the head of the deserts of China and they are trying to move their villages a few feet a year to get out of China.

  • They said the walls were built with gambling money of the chinese and to keep the evil people from the north west out. Well these are lies. The walls were built to keep the people in. Nobody free in the wilds of the world then wanted to go to China. They were afraid of the Gods in China who emprisened their people and shrunk and dried them in the deserts. The other people's came from places with water and trees and most of them were over 6 feet tall. China Scared them.
