Alterac Valley is a rather quick and easy way two get tons of Honor Points without really trying, which is why it is the focus of the first episode.

To further clarify, there is two ways to win AV. Fast: capture 2-4 towers > defeat the general (vann/drek). Slow: win by reinforcements from capturing towers or secondary objectives such as defeating their captain (galv/balinda), controlling the mines and killing other players. It is not actually necessary to defeat galv since it only reduces reinforcements and it is designed as a 5 man boss so it is a waste sending too many of your team in there if you want to finish quickly.
