Well, I do bask in the music and the gorgeous playing of the cellists. I'm just not so sure Shostakovich had sex in mind when he wrote it. There wouldn't be much world here were it not for sex, but I thought this post was to relish in the beauty and performance of this piece. However it affects the listener is up to the listener, including you and me.

@tennotes My question is...Why do people like you have to take sex OUT OF everything?!? Sex is a beautiful thing, and to pair it with beautiful music such as this elevates it to the divine! Stop being such a prude! Watching/listening to two beautiful, talented men who obviously care deeply for one another and their music should be making everyone with a healthy sex drive horny as hell! Stop repressing it; bask in it instead :)

Passion is a better choice of words. The music is passionate and the cellists are playing it passionately. That's what makes it so beautiful & no doubt Shostakovich would like their interpretation.
