@chrispmis Foster Brooks was famous for acting like a belligerent drunk on stage... Alcohol has killed more people than curse words so I think I would rather have the curse words...but it is still a "cleaner" performance I agree.

@chrispmis So glad we have youtube to GET BACK to where we belong...Laughing at each other, one another and ourselves. Foster Brooks, has brought more laughter in the last year or so, than a generation before, to myself. The Sandy Duncan joke would fly past young folks, but is priceless. I'm quite glad I came across these vids.

This was the golden age of television. I hope some younger people see these vids and see what they missed. They missed comedy without profanity. They missed the best of Hollywood getting together for a show; not a bunch of lame comedians that couldn't fill my backyard with an audience; a group that never even met the person they roasted. Back then the roasters were close friends of the roastee and didn't need a team of writers to give them material. Those days are long gone.
