hey guys i need ur answer i just got a red ear slider today and i think the tank is 10 or 20 gallon his sized is like medium idk but if i add more water would he swim cuz im afraid something might happen, and another question is that when i tried to feed him pellot he won't eat it. can anyone write me back Thank you.

@hiddendragon100 the more water the better. hopefully the tank is not a 10 gallon, thats way too small for a turtle, do you have a basking dock? heat lamp? UV bulb? filter? all of these things are essential to good turtle health. let me know I can give you much more detailed info. as for food, pellets are fine, extra calcium is also needed for shell growth, product called "repti-cal" sprinkled on food. if the turtle is 4 in or more then pellets are best, if its smaller then a high protien diet.
