Yes that is probably true but the sad fact is that they've probably already have been importing their ingredients for a long time now as well as just about every other brewer mentioned on here and I would even venture to say that a lot of the local microbrewers do the same thing. There's nothing really 100% American anymore. That comes from decades of people voting in Presidents and other public officials that are under the thumb of the CFR, and guess what, it's going to happen again this year.

Even if they brew it in the US, chances are it will be with much cheaper Brazilian barley and rice. Budweiser is as American now as beer & waffles. Thank God for the local microbrewers.
I am not saying that AB makes the best beer in the world but I live in St. Louis and this cooperation is one of the biggest enterprises in our country and by far the most dominant in my town. I think some people should show a bit respect to the people who depended on AB because I can foresee a great number of people losing their jobs due to this and it will definitely take a toll on our community.
