I made one of these and sent my ATC trade off inside, she LOVED it! I did the cover part as well and sewed a button onto the front and glued a string under a decorative cut out onto the back to make a little string closure. These are so cute :3

That's great, sounds like you made a lovely gift for your friend. I use these to send my trades in as well, they do help protect the cards in the post :)
