wow this happend 9 years before i was born and today i sit here 24 years old and watching 2 masters doing this lovely song together over the internet. @TheMohicks I agree, one of the most underrated songs of all time. First heard this song back around 1979 when I was at a real low point in my life and this song perfectly captured how I was feeling. Things have turned around since but whenevr I hear this song it still makes my heart ache.

Saw Kris live, during Stagecoach. He deserved to be the headliner, it's sad to see so many fans watching bullshit like Rascal Flatts, while the Godfather of country music sits in anonymity

love johnny of course, but love kris too! great fact: 1978 was the year where kris played the role of rubber duck in the movie "convoy"! so when i see this clip, i can see johnny cash singing together with rubber duck. i like that :) two great guys. very epic
