Canon T1i Anamorphic Movie Look Test

Just a quick simple test with the Canon T1i and a Generic anamorphic lens. Using this lens will yield "Scope" ratio. This is a quick test with only about 10 minutes until it got dark so sorry for the noise in the footage. The quality is not so great because I was more focused on getting the right ratio instead of a quality image. Shot handheld so the footage is shaky.

this is just amazing because usually most generic lenses, ESPECIALLY japanese ones suck serious ass. But this is amazing. I'm guessing you got it from ebay user popflash.photo888?

@sonicballer8888 yes that's the one :) $115 on Ebay. For the HV40 I had to get a 43mm to 52mm step up ring. Yeah I like this lens especially for the money. Thanks for the comments.

how did you get the proper white balance in video mode?

@calisaetia gives it more of a cinematic look, sort of a professional look with the black boarders, and anamorphic lens flares, there like flares from light but anamorphic ones stretch out
