Oman is fine the way it is, more freedoms such as freedom of speech in a disrespectful way and naive popular voting will distabalize the government and the safety it provides these acts will destroy Omans unique identity as the last Arab sultanate on this planet.

UAE leaders when speaking to all arab people:

"Dear arabs, you see Iran is powerful like a lion (unlike us)..Now, I am strong enough to make it angry by saying Arabian Gulf instead of Persian Gulf...ha ha ha..I can even say it your islands are mine..."...and the wealthy arab person smiles at tv and goes back to bed with his wives! Some miles away in other arab countries, poor arab kid sleeps hungry in street and doesn't know the new name for Persian Gulf is a good thing to feed him or not..
