@citytransportinfo That would be fine! I hope you find time to digitise more of your good old films.

If you want to know, what this ''cool'' germans say... something like this:
Yeah, our train :O
Just a joke^^
they say for example, that linkenheim isn't small
But they are wrong -.-
I am happy when I am 18 and old enough to MOVE OUT

Do you have more footage from Karlsruhe, e.g. trams in the city?

@Klingl3r
Yes, trams in the city, on the railway, and more. But very little has been digitised. Since I started work in December 2011 I have not had the time to digitise anything, but will have to start doing this again when everything that is digitised has been uplifted to Youtube.

It seems to be considered "cool" among teenagers from the Karlsruhe/SW-German area to use the local Baden dialect even in written form. What they totally don't get is that this - combined with occasional typos - makes it nearly impossible for non-german-speakers to understand.

This makes understanding almost as difficult as when people in one oart of the English speaking world use local dialects...
eg: understanding Australian slang here in Britain or the regional dialects of northern England in the USA - it has even been known for programmes from Manchester and the Yorkshire area of England to be subtitled when shown on the TV in the USA (ie: what is being said shown as text for people to read).
