I just started watching the doctor who series when it came on netflix and I loved it. So how come I've never seen this one or is it a separate movie thing like the Waters Of Mars and The End of Time

Where can you see this episode?
-
what's the name of the music that starts at 00:36
-
Screened NZ Queen's Birthday Monday (3rd of June). Hope the Unit people come back - Lee Evans was great. For me buying the DVD would depend on what the extras were but really looking forward to the next few, hoping there is a better end for Donna.

It wasn't like this episode was particularly original - bus teleported to barren landscape - similar to the episode with the Judoon - hospital teleported to barren landscape.
And the crap dialogue was still there, such as:
"Every single instinct of mine is telling me to get off this planet right now."
Funny that, I thought that too. After all, we've been mysteriously spirited to a desert planet with no water, and some crazy woman saying we're all going to die.
no s*** Sherlock...

I haven't seen the episode yet but it kinda reminds me of that one episode where he's trapped in some train that becomes inhabited by this creature that takes over someone's body. The episode wasn't super but it was at least relatively decent.
These days, Doctor Who seems to be more about fan service and other methods of getting a cheap pop out of the audience. The show also seems to rely on dialog to force a mood or tone onto the audience without letting it come out naturally.
That music is fantastic. I can't wait!

You mean the same Moffat who gave us four stories, with his last one in series 4 being like one greatest hit album....what with timey wimey again, another woman fancying the doctor, another childhood type monster with a catchphrase, everybody living again, and so on
Yes please bring on Moffat....
But thanks to RTD for writing over 20 stories...and getting writers like Moffat and Cornell to write for him too...:)
